X Factor star Honey G was sensationally booted off the ITV singing competition on Sunday night.
And now the rapper has reportedly employed a bodyguard to protect her after pranksters charged on stage during her performance the night before.
The 35-year-old was left visibly shaken after members of Trollstation interrupted her performance and tried to grab her hat.
Louis Walsh was in the middle of speaking at the time, while Sharon Osbourne burst out laughing and Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell panicked.
And now it sees the recruitment consultant, real name Anna Georgette Guilford, is not taking any chances when it comes to her safety.
“Honey’s X Factor journey has really helped expose her as an artist and credible hip-hop star – but it’s also left her vulnerable,” a source told The Sun.
“She was left shaking after Saturday night’s encounter with those Troll station idiots – but even though she seemed to shrug it off and remain professional, it’s knocked her confidence.
“Today she had a string of TV appearances, but she didn’t want to take any chances so has called on some professional protection.”
While it is unclear how long she will be keeping the security guard, there controversial performer has made it clear she won’t be fading into the background any time soon.
Appearing on This Morning yesterday, the Honey explained that she was looking to sign to a major music label going forward.
The rapper then went to say that she felt the ITV singing competition had helped her grow as an artist.
“Before I entered X Factor I had never done a live rap gig,” the Harrow-born star said.
“I feel like a rap artist has been born. I have grown as a rap artist.”
Previously speaking on the Xtra Factor after leaving the show, Honey suggested a song had already been written for her to release.
And after being quizzed by Matt Edmondson, Simon Cowell seemed to agree that the rapper could have a big future.
“I think we are gonna be seeing her in a couple of weeks time,” the music mogul said of the hopeful’s career.
However one thing fans might not have been expecting from Honey is her plans to settle down soon and hopefully have children.
The performer opened up to Lorraine Kelly, telling her: “Yeah I am looking for love and I really wanna have kids soon.”
She then added: “Possibly marriage one day too, you never know.”
